Artist Statement

My pictures as a whole tend to lean more toward using the rule of thirds. They also tend to be very focused on the colors of the pictures.

I think that Dorothea Lange is very influential because of her use of black and white photos of all different types of people. I feel that it gives the sense of unity among the all of the differences that people have.

From this semester the thing that I would have to say that impacted my picture taking the most would be the three things to check before taking a picture. By learning these simple things it helps me to know how to use my camera to make the pictures look the same way they do in real life.
