Salt & Grace

The ocean is vast, deep, and mysterious. These images barely scratch the surface of everything that the ocean offers. There is so much that is unseen as we wade deeper into the water where we are at the mercy of the sea. As scary as that may seem, the ocean is a source of wonderous beauty if we brave to go deeper. Despite all the abrasions the sand and salt may cause, it can shape you into something beautiful the same way the ocean does with shells.

This is a great analogy in my life for my relationship with Christ. That act of letting go allows me to step into the grace God has gifted me. There is a sense of fear, of letting go of control, and being at the mercy of something beyond you.
